Imagine being a star for one special enchanting evening. Well, dreams do come true and on Sunday, January 15, 2012, at the fabulous Riviera Resort and Spa;  Dancing with the Palm Springs Stars will fulfill the dreams of many.

Dancing with the Palm Springs Stars is a gay/lesbian/mixed couple Dance Extravaganza featuring many of our local Palm Springs residents, as well as, a few celebrities. As a fundraising event, each dancer will be swinging their hips, tapping their toes and shaking their body, while raising much needed funds for their favorite charity.  Some of the 12 charities include, The Stroke Recovery Center, Loving All Animals Alzheimer’s Association, United Way of the Desert,  and Variety (The Children’s Charity).

Special guests’ judges include Fashion Designer, Project Runway, Michael Costello, City Council Woman Ginny Foat, CEO Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce Nona Watson, CEO, AIDS Assistance Program, Mark Anton and Channel 3 News Reporter, Gil Diaz. Plus! The Master of Ceremony for the evening will be none other than the incomparable Brian Wanzek!
Salsa, Cha-cha, Merenge, the Waltz, the Hustle…you name it, we’re dancin’ it! Festivities start at 5:30pm, Cocktail Reception & Silent Auction with Dinner & Show at 6:30pm. Don’t miss this extraordinary dance inspired evening!!
